Key Components
6-Axis Collaborative Robot (Handling)
Precisely picks cutting-tool tips from the feed tray and automatically transfers them to the inspection and marking stations. A blue cable drag chain keeps the wiring safely managed, and the robot flexibly handles various tip geometries.
Handling / Transfer
Vision Inspection Station
LED ring lighting and a high-resolution camera capture detailed images of the tip surface, edges, and shape. Vision software analyzes dimensions and defects in real time, automatically classifying OK (green) / NG (red) and sorting instantly.
Vision Inspection / Quality Sorting
Fiber Laser Marker
Precisely laser-marks serial numbers, specifications, and lot information onto tips that pass inspection (OK). The black-housing laser head is routed through a blue cable drag chain and marks without contact, causing no damage to the tip.
Laser Marking / Engraving
Integrated HMI Control System
A dual-monitor HMI displays vision inspection results, process flow, and fault alarms in real time. PASS/OK and FAIL/NG status is shown at a glance with color coding, while inspection history and statistical data are automatically saved and managed.
Control / Monitoring
Tip Feed Tray
A black anodized tray that loads various tip shapes — such as diamond and triangular cutting-tool tips — in a grid array. It is precisely aligned with the robot pick-up coordinates and feeds continuously, tray by tray.
Feeding / Loading
Inspection Jig & Fixture Plate
A yellow pneumatic clamp jig accurately holds the tip at the vision inspection position. On the black anodized plate it ensures highly repeatable positioning and is compatible with a wide range of tip specifications.
